Uganda Clays Limited
(UCL), one of the major manufacturers and suppliers of baked clay building
products in the Eastern and Central African region. The head offices are
located at Kajjansi, 14 Km on Entebbe road, with a second factory situated at
Kamonkoli in Eastern Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Soliciting and receiving orders from customers.
- Preparation of sale invoices, delivery notes and daily sales
summaries. - Issuing of tally notes where applicable.
- Organizing and hosting presentations and customer visits
- Assisting with promotional activities
- Visiting customers/external agencies.
- Participating in vertical activities such as team meetings and
reviews - Performing customer courtesy calls
- Conduct market research for products and promote them to the public.
- Assist with co-ordination and attend marketing trade shows.
- Handle supplier relationships for promotional merchandise including
– counting, tracking, stocking, re-ordering. - Keep track of all invoices to ensure payment is made on time.
- Report to Marketing Officer to ensure deadlines are met on various
projects and providing information on potential problems and concerns. - Distribution and storage of promotional materials.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The candidate should hold a Diploma in Marketing, or Business
studies - Prior working experience of at least two (2) years in marketing
- Computer knowledge in excel and tally.
- Self motivated, target focused and able to work under minimum
supervision.
