Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate the weighbridge satisfactorily
through proper receipt and weighing of materials into and out of the
Brewery. - Complete any weighbridge associated
documentation satisfactorily - Understand basic terms associated with the
operation of a weighbridge - Conduct routine stock takes and extract
reports and report and risks associated with operating the station - Take part in problem solving
- Maintain a safe and healthy working
environment Communicate effectively in the work place Contribute to team
and self development Work in Teams
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should have preferably
a Degree in Procurement and supply chain Management and or a Higher
Diploma in Materials management or Book keeping, a Diploma in Food Science
is added advantage - At least a year’s experience in the Food
and beverages Manufacturing Company as a Weigh Bridge Clerk. - Good working knowledge of the proper
performance of a standard weigh bridge including basic numeracy skills - Process knowledge and Product Knowledge
- High integrity and attention to detail
- Ability to produce accurate reports
- High energy, balanced personality self
discipline and drive, conceptualizing and innovative thinking, goal
orientation and a strong output bias. - Proactive mindset, self driven, self
starter and with initiative; ability to communicate (verbal and written), - Go getter attitude, Team player, Proactive
and customer focused - Computer literacy – Word, PowerPoint and
Excel
