Our client is one of the largest manufacturers in Uganda with around
300 employees and supplies Fast Moving Consumer Goods to all parts of the
country and exporting to the East African region including Tanzania, Rwanda,
DRC and South Sudan. The company has a range of over 50 registered products in
Uganda.

Job Summary: The Senior
Business Development Manager is an integral member of the Management team, the
Senior Business Development Manager will focus on identifying business opportunities
and developing agreed business projects in line with the company strategy;
coordinating and implementing plans and programmes that support attainment of
sales and profit targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the
company’s growth strategy through developing new products and giving
marketing support to key products. - Analyzing market
trends and developing resulting opportunities. - Identifying new
markets, conducting product feasibility tests and implementing launches. - Developing the exports
business. - Maintaining linkages
between customers, marketing and production and building relationships
internally and externally.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should
hold an MBA specializing in marketing - A bachelor’s degree in
Science and strong Pharmaceutical background - A minimum of ten (10)
years experience gained in a similar capacity
