Job Summary: The Relations
Officer will be charged with the responsibility of obtaining sponsorship for
the Institute’s events, projects and products; branding; participate in
developing and maintaining partnerships; and promotion of the Institute’s
programmes and activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To
participate in organising ICPAU’s events. - To
handle sponsorship and branding of the Institute’s events. - To
assist in the preparation of contractual agreements for sponsors inaccordance
with ICPAU policy. - To
assist in the promotion of the image of the Institute to all stakeholders. - To
produce follow-through the literature to sponsors - To
consistently update ICPAU management on the status of sponsorship activities. - To
participate in the development of promotional materials. - To
participate in the creation of partnerships as a promotional tool for the profession
and the Institute. - To
assist in the promotion of the Institute’s programmes and activities. - To
assist in promoting use of ICT in reaching the Institute’s stakeholders. - To
assist in the coordination of the organisation of meetings. - To
participate in the preparation of the Institute’s plans and business proposals. - To
carry-out any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should possess a Bachelors’ degree. A postgraduate qualification
in marketing or public relations is an added advantage. - Skills
in Management; supervisory; negotiation; and proposal and report writing. - At
least 2 years of relevant working experience. - All
candidates should exhibit visionary, courteous, self-driven, energetic and
commitment - They
should also possess high degrees of integrity who can bring expertise in
their fields. - Excellent
command of the English language (both spoken and written). - Excellent
communication and computer skills. - Strong
leadership and interpersonal skills; and resourceful team builders/players. - Good
analytical and problem–solving skills. - Be
creative, innovative and sensitive to quality.
