The EU has been providing assistance to the Ministry of Finance Planning and
Economic Development (MoFPED) during the period April 2011 to October 2014 to
strengthen its
capacity to undertake the role of the National Authorising Officer (NAO) under
the Support to NAO Programme. In this context, the Ministry is in the process
of establishing a Unit under the Treasury Services Department, for the
financial management of the European Development Fund (EDF).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the office is open
at 8:00 am and closed after 5:00 pm; - Provide office clerical
support; - Ensure that office and
all equipment and furniture are kept clean at all times
- Manage the prompt delivery
and circulation of documents; - Maintain an updated
vehicle logbook; - Drive NAOSU staff to
ensure safe and reliable transport to the required destinations and return
trip, if necessary outside of the working hours. - Ensure that the office
vehicle is clean, in good mechanical and functional condition at all
times; - Witness and ensure that
defects on the vehicle are sufficiently fixed at the contractual garage.
- The applicant should hold
at least an ordinary level certificate - Possess a valid driving
permit with class DL and defensive driving skills - At least three years of
relevant work experience - Excellent communications
skills in English a must
