Job Summary: This is a
senior position with potential growth for a suitable candidate to be
responsible for the overall IT strategy presently comprising of Oracle running
on Solaris Sun servers and a company-wide Vmware virtual desktop and server
installation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day running of the SAP
installation in its totality - Manage all SAP related projects in all SAP
modules - Ensure complete and up to date
documentation is maintained - Work with multiple teams SAP, non-SAP IT
and the overall Business team. - Coordinating with SAP partners/vendors to
resolve issues. - Train and implement training programs as
appropriate for users as well as to develop local SAP knowledge. - Configure the SAP topology, application
servers and central instance that make up the system as well as
performance and tuning of the SAP application servers - Ensure overall operation of SAP on the
underlying Oracle database and Solaris servers
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The candidate should be B. Tech. CS/IT
degree with 10+ years experience in SAP having intimate knowledge of the
SAP environment and good working knowledge and experience in SAP Basis,
Security and Authorization. - Candidates having additional knowledge and
experience of Oracle and Solaris will be preferred.
