over the past 13 years, have highlighted interest in a venue that facilitates
group thinking and discussion, problem solving, analyses and documentation.

Summary: The General
Manager, Study And Retreat Centre (SRC) is a senior position
with responsibilities, qualifications and experience to create a resource
centre, enabling groups as well as individuals to more successfully utilise
TAF’s conducive environment for a study, retreat and relaxation centre. The
General Manager reports to the Board of the Ankrah Foundation through the
Managing Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offer
leadership to different staff/departments as they carry out their responsibilities
and duties. - Design
different packages to suit different categories of guests at the SRC i.e.,
design studies, retreat activities, honeymoon packages, hikes and organise
nature trips. - Maintain
working relationships and communicate with all other departments of TAF. - Design
marketing strategies for the Centre. - Produce
results in increasing clientele. - Publicize
the programmes and goals of SRC through communication skills. - Establish
sound working relationships with community groups, organizations and
companies. - Work
closely with the TAF Board and staff with respect to matters of finance
i.e., in preparing a budget. See to it that the foundation operates within
budget guidelines. - Ensure
appropriate records of SCR. - Offer
official communication to TAF and beyond.
Skills and Experience:
- He/she
must possess as a minimum of a Masters Degree in the hospitality,
management and/ or human resource field. - Possess
at least three years experience in a related role - Be
adherent to, or not in opposition of the Christian faith - Be
an excellent team player - Possess
prior experience in managing a hotel/hospitality business, including
marketing
