- Carry out safe medical
circumcision surgery for project target age group at fixed or mobile
sites. - Ensure documentation
of all surgical and follow up procedures including follow up and
management of adverse effects - Ensure that
circumcisions are carried out safely and in accordance with agreed
policies - Ensure that all SMC
activities are done according to the standard operating procedures and
ethical requirements. - Manage and account for
allocated recourses including medical drugs and supplies. - Refer complicated
cases for further management. - Provide leadership and
mentorship to the SMC team at the wellness centre - Support other project
related duties as required - Submit regular reports
as required by the project and the MOH.
- The applicant should
possess a diploma in clinical medicine and community health from a recognized
institution. - Must be registered and
licenced by the allied health professionals council - At least two years
experience preferably in a circumcision surgical setting
