Summary: The Chief
Financial Officer will demonstrate not only expertise in financial management
in a diverse business environment but also be able to contribute effectively to
strategy development, business & operational management and provide
leadership to the overall organization.

Key
Duties and Responsibilities:

- All
aspects of financial matters including accounting, financial control,
financial reporting, management reporting, business planning, budgeting
and forecasting; - Development
of an anti-fraud and a revenue assurance regime to avoid revenue leakage - Implementation
and continued development of reporting systems, key performance indicators
and accounting policies to enable effective business decision making and
an adequate control environment; - Offer
support the General Manager in business decision making - Drive
ongoing initiatives to maintain cost savings and ensure that the operation
is managed on a least cost culture. - Negotiating
and raising financing - Effective
management of Tax and Treasury affairs - Ensuring
due processes are maintained for corporate governance
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- The
applicants should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) - Experience
of at least six years working in high growth environments with an
operational focus. - Excellent
interpersonal skills and the presence to quickly establish credibility - Highly
computer literate with advanced computer skills and appreciation of
complex IT applications and infrastructure. - Proven
track record, where they have been member of a management team; - Strong
tax and treasury skills - Dynamic
and resilient personality with the ability to work in interdisciplinary
teams and in a fast paced environment; - Mature
personality with strong negotiation and communication capabilities - Fluency
in English is essential for this role.
