to recruit a suitably qualified Business Unit Head for its Commercial Marketing

- Develop strategies
with detailed execution plans to achieve greater financial sustainability. - Create, motivate and
manage a high quality team to successfully improve and scale up
operations. - Achieve agreed goals
by providing leadership and oversight for all operational areas, including
marketing, sales, financial planning and new business development. - Ensure the successful
launch of new health products. - Develop positive
relationships with government, donors, NGOs, and commercial businesses to
help achieve objectives. - Establish a monitoring
and management information system, and use the data for analysis to
improve strategy, planning and productivity. - Manage and report on
all objectives and activities on a monthly basis.
- Educational background
in business management and/or a pharmacist/doctor with demonstrated
entrepreneurial experience in pharmaceutical marketing, sales and/or new
business development. - Candidates with additional experience in OTC
or consumer marketing and sales will be preferred. - Proven track record of
financial management. Ability to manage a budget and P&L. - Preferably conversant
in issues of international public health (especially reproductive health) - The candidate must
share values of supporting the rights of individuals, a strong work ethic,
honesty and integrity. This position requires a person who is independent,
self-motivated and driven by results and success, as well as possessing
the ability to inspire a team.
