Programme (YLP)
(YLP), under the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development (MGLSD). The
overall objective of the Programme is to address the escalating problem of
Youth Unemployment in Uganda.
Officer will be responsible for the overall administration of the YLP.
- Develop annual and quarterly
project work plans. - Process and coordinate
the necessary logistics for effective implementation of programme
activities. - Organize and
coordinate meetings, workshops and other events planned by the programme. - Produce periodic
reports on activities implemented and achievements made. - Manage, supervise and
control project, logistics, tools and equipment. - Assist with the
production of user documentation (materials, presentations and minutes of
the meetings). - Any other duties
assigned by the Supervisor.
- The Applicants must be
Ugandans possessing the following:-an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social
Sciences / Social Work and Social Administration / Business
Administration. - At least three years
working experience in handling the key tasks above will be an added
advantage.
in computer application programmes especially Microsoft office is a
requirement, Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; Ethics and
Integrity, Teamwork; Planning, Organising and Coordination.
