Malaria Project (SMP)

Project (SMP) is a six-year USAID funded initiative awarded in September 2008.
The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners led by Johns
Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health Centre for Communication
Programs (JHUCCP). The other partners are Malaria Consortium (MC),
Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) and Infectious Diseases
Institute (IDI), Conference Services and Travel Coordination.
- Carry
out data analysis for the LLIN data - Identification
of outliers and their possible source - Perform
data aggregation and graphical presentations - Developing
programs for data analysis analyse data and report reports. - Determining
delivery methods and information requirements. - Preparing
presentations from the analysis to deliver the findings to different
audiences - Perform
any other duties as assigned by superiors
- All
candidates should hold Degrees in Statistics, quantitative economics or
related field with strong data analysis skills in SPSS, STATA and Excel
spreadsheets - The
prospective data managers should hold at least three years’ experience
analyzing very large data sets - Excellent
IT and database management skills
