Job Summary: The Assistant
Technical Officer will be responsible for assisting the Technical Officer in
executing the technical function of the Institute.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist in handling technical issues
related to the Accountancy Profession. - To participate in the audit monitoring
programme of the Institute. - To assist in the execution of the
Continuing Professional Development - (CPD) Programme.
- To assist in development and preparation
of technical materials - To assist in the building of relationships
with the Institute’s stakeholders. - To participate in conducting research in
accountancy and related areas. - To participate in the running of the
Institute’s events and functions. - Perform other administrative duties as may
be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should be a qualified
Accountant. A degree is an added advantage. - At least 2 years’ experience in
auditing/teaching. - Skills in Auditing and accounting; report
writing; and team leadership. - All candidates should exhibit visionary,
courteous, self-driven, energetic and commitment - They should also possess high degrees of integrity
who can bring expertise in their fields. - Excellent command of the English language
(both spoken and written). - Excellent communication and computer
skills. - Strong leadership and interpersonal
skills; and resourceful team builders/players. - Good analytical and problem–solving
skills. - Be creative, innovative and sensitive to
quality.
