over 100 Countries in the world. WWF UCO implements a number of national
programmes promoting environment conservation in Uganda.
Specialist will provide leadership to WWF UGO team, in designing, implementing
programmes, documenting lessons learnt, and building staff capacity.
Additionally they will provide technical support, monitor and evaluate
programmes suitable for conservation work. They will internally work closely
with the Senior Management team at the Uganda Country Office, Project
Coordinators & Managers, in guiding Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for
both the Conservation and Operations team. Externally they will work with
implementing and donor partners, including Government and Non-Government representatives.
- The
candidate should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies or
related subjects; an advanced degree will be an added advantage. - The
applicant should possess at least seven years working experience in
monitoring and Evaluating environmental related issues and/ or development
context. - Comprehensive
understanding of Programme development steps and Project Management
Standards is required.
