Organisation: Global Communications Company
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Trouble shooting Transmission failures :
    MW and Optics
  • NMS server support : basic
    administration
  • Liaise with NOC team and field team for
    transmission failures, repairs and recovery
  • Ensure all MW supervision is up and
    administering and design of the supervision DCN
  • Service configuration on the MW
    equipment
  • Respond to customer requests for testing
    and service provisioning
  • Coordinate field works with regards to
    transmission faults, repairs and installations
  • Ensure that all equipment are supervised
    on the NMS and do basic system checks for the NMS in case of server
    failures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The candidate should possess experience
    of 2-3 years in a similar or related role.
