Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing installation, maintenance, repair
and/or replacement of defective components on Trailers and drawbars - Performing preventative maintenance based on predetermined
service schedules. - Checking and rectifying wheel alignment issues.
- Maintaining curtains, rollers, guides and tie
downs. - Attending to vehicle breakdowns
- Maintaining shop tools and equipment in good, safe
and clean working order, and reports deficiencies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- All candidates should possess diplomas in
AUTOMOTIVE Mechanical Engineering or related qualification - Must currently be employed as Trailer Mechanic
with minimum 5 years work experience on heavy duty trailers - Extensive knowledge and experience of modern
commercial trailers including ABS/ EBS, electrical and general servicing - Possess excellent problem solving, diagnostic and
fault finding skills. - Basic knowledge of human resource management and
supervision
