Job Summary: The Technical Support
Manager will be responsible for the collection, organisation, analysis and
dissemination of management information for strategic decision making.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for the collection, organisation , analysis and dissemination of key
engineering services management information - Identifying
and developing for Umeme use the most up to date Distribution management
information profiles - Delivery
of critical business reports as requested from time to time - Development
and Maintenance of company asset register - Management
of Umeme’s GIS - Setting
and maintaining standards with respect to records and record control - Researching
and reporting on new technological developments relevant to the
electricity distribution business - Development
of associated systems and processes to effectively carry out duties - Contribute
to departmental strategy and plan development
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering 5 (five) years and particularly electricity asset management. - Proficiency
in IT - Strong
analytical skills - Excellent
report writing skills in English - Good
understanding of systems architecture principals
