Coordinator will offer overall leadership and supervision in planning and
implementation of programs and sponsorship activities within the Local Rights
Program in line with the Country Strategic Paper IV.
- Provide
Leadership in the planning, implementation, and reporting on the
performance of the Local Rights Program Strategy and Plans in accordance
with the Country Strategic Paper and organizational policies. - Monitor
adherence to organizational policies, manage organizational resources and
ensure compliance of staffs and partners to systems, policies and
procedures. - Identify
funding gaps within Local Rights Programs, develop fundraising plans and
mobilize resources in line with Local Rights Program and Country Strategic
Paper Strategies - Supervise,
motivate, appraise staff and build the capacity of staff and partners in
line with the Human Resource Policy and other organizational policies and
procedures. - Mobilize,
coordinate and support the building and strengthening of networks,
coalitions, and relationships with stakeholders at Local Rights Program
levels. - Plan,
coordinate and implement child sponsorship activities within the Local
Rights Program in line with Sponsorship Policy and communication
guidelines. - Plan
and Coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities in the Local Rights
Program and provide periodic reports on the program work. - Plan
and provide technical support to partners and communities in program
Implementation and documentation of models and best practices for shared
learning in line with Accountability Learning & Planning Systems - Identify
thematic and programme knowledge needs for the Local Rights Program and
its partners, coordinate the generation, storage and access to knowledge
in line with the ActionAid Uganda Strategy.
- The
applicant should possess an Honours Degree in Development studies or
relevant social science discipline from a recognized institution. - A
relevant post graduate qualification and training in human rights based
approaches, project planning and management is an added advantage. - Three
to four years of relevant working experience from a recognized institution/organization.
