Job Summary: The job
holder will be responsible for driving sales; market research; competitor
analysis and driving the product development process to achieve sales target
and profitability

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create
a strategic vision to achieve business sales targets and ensure that
company resources are effectively allocated. - Establishing
marketing strategy, objectives and plans to achieve the sales targets and
profitability - Integration
of business imperatives with company marketing and brand strategy. - Marketing
research, competitor analysis and business development including
successful introduction of new products on the Ugandan market. - Expansion
of the distribution network in Uganda - Recruiting
and retention of necessary sales and marketing staff. This will include
leading, directing, motivating, training and coaching the marketing team - Regular
reporting to the stakeholders and principals - Establish
sales incentives strategies. - Any
other duties and responsibilities as may be deemed fit by the supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant area - Additional
post graduate training in Sales management or MBA or CIM would be an added
advantage - Five
or more years in Pharmaceutical sales experience, two of which should have been at
supervisory level - Brand
or product management and development experience would be an added I
advantage
