autonomous body established by the Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap.
50). It is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in
Uganda. The Institution has employment vacancies to be filled by innovative,
self driven and competent candidates to be engaged on contract.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Is the official
spokesperson of the Centre - Develops, plans and
implements Public Relations Plans for the Centre - Fosters Community Relations
- Builds a good image of
the Centre - Solicits and monitors
feedback from patrons, stakeholders and the general public - Organise relevant events
that include press conferences, exhibitions, open days and tours - Organise appropriate
reception of Patrons to the Centre
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- An honours Bachelors
degree or its equivalent in Journalism or Mass communication (public relations
option) from a recognized institution - Certified training in
cultural economics - Further training in any of
the above fields shall be an added advantage. - Should have at least three
(3) years’ proven work experience - Results oriented able to
set attainable public relations and marketing goals and manage their
achievement - Skills in networking and
building partnerships - Well developed
leadership, team building and communication skills - Ability to think
strategically and foster change in self and others - Possessing appropriate Information Communication Technology skills
