is established under the PPDA Act No.1 of 2003 to formulate policies and
regulate procurement and disposal practices in respect of all procuring and
disposing entities which include Central
Enterprises, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies and Post Primary Training
Institutions.
assist the Manager Legal and Advisory Services in providing legal advice to the
Authority and other Stakeholders.
- Prepare legal opinion and undertake
research on matters relating to the mandate of the Authority. - Represent the Authority in the PPDA
Tribunal and courts of law. - Provide legal advice to PDEs.
- Handle administrative reviews,
accreditations, deviations and Suspensions - Draft Procurement and disposal guidelines,
standard bidding documents and circulars - Any other duty as assigned by the Manager
- The candidate should possess an Honours
degree in Law from a recognised University and a Post Graduate Diploma in
Legal Practice - Credits in both Math and English at O’
Level. - Excellent analytical skills
- Good communication and report writing
skills - High degree of integrity
- Must be computer literate
- Willingness to travel to the different
parts of the country. - Good interpersonal skills and team
oriented individual.
