a wholly owned subsidiary of Tulane University, a US-based tertiary education
institution. TILLC has been present in Uganda since 1998. TILLC seeks
candidates for office operations support and for a number of management,
technical and consultant positions for anticipated programs in Uganda.
- The
candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in statistics, demographics,
public policy, international development, economics, or related field; - Two
years field experience in program design and development, program
monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building; - Experience
developing and refining data collection tools; - Experience
with data quality assessment and oversight; - Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team - Good
organizational and time management skills; - The
job holder should be willing to spend up to 80% of time in field; - Excellent
written and oral communication skills in English; - Computer
literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Word processing, PowerPoint, Database,
Spreadsheet and graphics presentations (including one or more of the
following programs: Excel, Access Epi Info, SPSS); - Residents
of Gulu preferred.
