UNCC is a semi
autonomous body established by the Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap.
50). It is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in
Uganda. The Institution has employment vacancies to be filled by innovative,
self driven and competent candidates to be engaged on contract.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advises Management and
Board on implement - Develops and implements an
IT plan for UNCC - Provides basic IT training
to management and staff - Manages UNCC website
and other e- applications - Ensure clear procedures
for UNCC IT needs, installations and security - Ensure clear procedures for
the disposal of equipment - Set up robust security systems that
govern the day to day operations and core activities
of UNCC. - Ensure protection from
external threats. - Integrate all IT systems and
automated core processes. - Safeguard the integrity
of UNCC data and put in place Disaster Recovery process. - Ensure timely maintenance
of IT equipments and replacements/ disposals.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- The candidate should
possess a Bachelors degree with honors in Information Communication Technology,
Computer Science or equivalent; - The candidate should have
either Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) or Certificate of
Internet Webmaster (CIW) - Should have at least three (3) years’ experience in the relevant field.
- Having knowledge of MS
SQL Server will be an added advantage - Technical and Behavioral
Competencies - Team player
- Proficiency in
IT systems, applications and Network - Analytical abilities
- Good communicator
- Concern for quality and
standards
