Uganda, its local affiliate ZPEB Uganda Co Ltd is now seeking to recruit
competent personnel in the following positions on contract Terms of Service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Significant experience in Industrial
instrumentation and control systems. - Goo working knowledge of PLC installation
and Chemical processes. - Exceptional knowledge of industry codes
and regulations. - Familiarity with oil and gas instrument
design, specification and documentation. - Proficient with instrument engineering
software and standard desktop. - Prior work experience in designing the
engineering process, document process and implement changes. - Ability to Coordinate with the process
control group and identified areas where improvements could be made. - Demonstrate a comprehensive operational
knowledge of all Zpeb equipments in use at the well site. - Ability to troubleshoot instruments and
Safety Instrumented Systems. - Ability to interpret oil and gas related
electrical schematic and technical drawings. - Execute other related duties as assigned.
- Conduct all business activities in
accordance with ZPEB’s HSE policies, legal compliance and the company’s
core values.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The candidate must possess a minimum of four years experience as an instrument engineer in the oil industry and have
experience working with convectional motor drilling, mud and well tools. - Must be able to perform drilling and well
calculations. - Computer literate with proficient
knowledge of universal software packages. - Ability to work in a team environment
- A minimum of a two year technical degree
preferred. - An off shore medical certificate and
offshore survival certificate is an added advantage.
