Job Summary: The Environmental,
Health and Safety/ Site Services Officer is responsible for administering the
occupational safety, health, fire and dust explosion prevention programmes in
accordance with legislation and effectively managing the contractors appointed
to maintain a high standard of hygiene, safety, security and the integrity of
the site and associated buildings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply and administer occupational health,
safety and environmental principles - Ensure compliance with company safety
standards and statutory requirements - Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
- Implement the occupational health, safety
and environmental legislation in the workplace - Manage site security
- Manage building maintenance contractors
- Manage site contractors, licenses and
permits
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- The applicant should possess a Degree in
an Engineering field Must have a minimum of 2 years work experience in
EHS/Site services or related field - Good understanding of OHS
legislation - Excellent organisational and planning skills are essential
- Good communication skills Customer centric
disposition - A good team player
- Ability to think tactically and creatively
- Ability to prioritize work in the face of
competing demands
