Job Summary: The Contractor Manager
will primarily be responsible for the acquisition and Management of contractors
directly engaged by Customer Services Engineering
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sourcing
and hiring Contractors as required - Identification
and scoping of potential outsourcing opportunities - Development
and monitoring of Contracts - Delivery
of services through the Customer Services Engineering Manager and Customer
Service Engineers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
Contractor Manager should possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering with
5 (five) years experience of Electricity Network - IT
proficiency a requirement - Excellent report writing
- Excellent
judgment particularly with respect to Umeme standards of construction and
delivery - Perceptive
and astute in developing contracts and associated pricing and delivery - Self
driven and creative
