Executive
Director UCRNN
and Program Development will ensure the;
- Facilitation of the design planning and
implementation of the program. - Responsible for putting in place and
ensuring the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation System that will
ensure tracking of progress, documenting experiences and challenges,
sharing lessons learnt. - Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of
project results and ensure proper and timely reporting to donors.
- Identify
resource mobilization opportunities and initiate/
maintain links with development partners - Coordinate the
development of high quality and competitive proposals and bids
for funds and other resources
- Develop and operationalize a
comprehensive M&E framework for programs and projects implemented
by the network secretariat. - Generate information
to inform UCRNN’s ( Secretariat) donor reporting obligations
including coordinating periodic programme/project reviews and evaluations - Strengthen the
internal capacity of member organizations and other child rights CSOs in
M&E to facilitate the documentation of the performance and
contribution of CSOs to the promotion of child rights in Uganda. - Support child rights
actors to assess and monitor the implementation of key child rights
instruments and commitments at national level. - Systematically
document and disseminate good practices and models within the child rights
sector.
Experience:
- The applicant should hold a minimum
of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, SWSA, Development
Studies, Statistics other human rights related fields. A post
graduate qualification project Planning and Management and M&E fields
is required. - Three or more years of relevant experience in a
position that involves programme design and M&E within the NGO sector. - Middle to senior level managerial experience of
not less than 2 years - At least 2 years’ experience in organizational
capacity strengthening
