Job Summary: The Network
/ Systems Administrator should exceptionally be competent with physical
and virtual Windows and CentOS servers in an Active Directory domain, learning
new technologies and troubleshooting desktops.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively maintain quality and
availability of networks, applications, servers, and services in a
virtualized environment - Participate in enterprise-wide delivery of
IT services and projects - Build/change/manage the IT infrastructure,
including network, systems/servers, storage, etc. per best practices and
business needs. - Manage at a high level Windows Server, AD,
SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, IIS, etc. - Interact with suppliers, manufacturers and
vendors as necessary - Oversee IT security
- Assist IT Manager in purchasing, budgeting
and project management where necessary - Documentation, capacity planning and
optimization - Conduct racking and physical configuration
of datacenter equipment if necessary - Be generally a key participant in the
design, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of all
IT systems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s
degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience - Professional MCTIP Certification, Comptia
Network+ or Security+ will be added advantages. - The candidate should possess three or more
experience in a similar position - Windows and CentOS Server administration
(2008 and above preferred) including installing, configuring and
maintaining DC’s, Application servers and services including AD, DHCP,
DNS, File & Print, DFSR - Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP with
hands-on LAN/ WAN administration experience - Knowledge of common network protocols,
services and topologies (VLAN, VPN, STP, WiFi) Configuration and
troubleshooting of L2 or L3 switches - Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
configuration, replication and Group Policies Hands-on experience with
Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server (2007 and above preferred) Administration
and support for virtualization products (HyperV or ESX preferred) - UTM appliance Firewall configuration and
management experience - Experience with different storage systems
(RAID arrays, SAN and NAS) - Experience with WSUS and desktop imaging
is an asset - Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Ability to communicate effectively at all
levels of an organization - Ability to work in a structured or
unstructured team environment - Organized, analytical and professional
- Resourceful, creative and thorough
- Ability to assess and solve problems
quickly.
