The Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda
(Baylor-Uganda) headquartered at Mulago hospital, is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS
care and treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV
infected and affected Children and Adults. Baylor – Uganda has four operational
areas; HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health
services, Health Professional training and Clinical Research. Baylor-Uganda is
in receipt of UNICEF and PEPFAR grant through CDC.

Job Summary: The Laboratory
Officer will review and monitor the implementation of guidelines for providing
laboratory test services in Karamoja sub region in line with current MoH
laboratory professional standards and Baylor Uganda’s mission

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The candidate should
hold a degree in Biomedical Laboratory Science or other laboratory related
course with Three years of laboratory work experience. - Post graduate diploma
in managerial aspects /masters in a laboratory related course and two years
experience at a supervisory role will be an added advantage. - Proficient use of
automated laboratory instrumentation - Working knowledge in laboratory operations
Age: 25-30 years.
