Key Duties and responsibilities:
- Give guidance to the University on general
financial management and control of the University finances in accordance
with the University Council policies and regulations. - Take lead in establishing financial
control systems in respect of revenue collection, payment/expenditure and
procurement of goods and services. - Verifying monthly financial services,
reports and their reconciliation. - Ensuring implementation of risk management
policies, procedures, internal control systems and risk mitigation
strategies - Assist External Auditors in execution of
their duties - Advising the Vice Chancellor and other
Officers on matters of financial management and accountability. - Perform any other duties that may be
assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The Auditor should possess a Bachelor of
Business Administration or Commerce (accounting or finance option). - Professional qualification like ACCA, CPA
is an added advantage - A minimum of two years relevant working
experience in a reputable institution. - High degree of integrity
