in liaison with Senior Management Team - Ensures effective staff hiring procedures are in place and

management procedures - Be Responsible for the development of realistic job
evaluation and grading system - Develops and continuously amends the organisation chart as
approved by management - Ensures that Performance Management is established and
becomes part of the everyday culture - Develops, implement, and maintains a cost effective staff
remuneration structure. - Ensures maintenance of an adequate level of human resource
in terms of numbers and quality - Oversees the development of human resource planning
including succession plans - Develops, implements and controls effective staff training
programs - Ensures productive employee welfare, commitment and
loyalty to the company - Ensures the security of the property and staff of the
organisation - Ensures that the industrial relations and welfare climate
in the organisation is conducive - Oversees the management of the transport section of the
organization - Ensures that performance Management is established and
becomes part of the everyday culture - Coaches and develops departmental staff and regularly
appraises them - Responsible for effective management of Procurement
activities in the company.
- The applicant should possess a B.A degree in Social
Science, with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or any
other degree from an internationally recognized University and a Post
graduate diploma in Human Resource Management - A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or MBA
would be a definite advantage. - Three to five years working experience in a distributed
network of staff - Membership of a recognized Human Resource Management
Association or Institute would be an added advantage.

- Knowledge of Labor Law of Uganda
- Proficiency in HR Management Principles and Procedures and
internationally recognized best practices - A mature, seasoned professional manager who is able to
