Administration Manager
Development Corporation (UDC), formerly established by the Uganda Development
Act (Cap 329) of 1952 with the objective of facilitating the industrial and
economic development of Uganda, was revived with the mandate to facilitate the
industrial and economic development of Uganda as the investment arm of
Government.
- Receive guests into UDC premises and usher them to the
respective Offices; - Attend to UDC telephone exchange and keep a record of
in/outward telephone calls; - Receive outgoing telephone call requests from Officers and
forward them to the respective destinations; - Performs office support and clerical duties including
typing correspondences and photocopying - Assisting in the planning and preparation of meetings,
workshops, conferences and conference calls - Provide secretarial support to UDC staff as when required
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to
time
- The applicant should hold a degree in secretarial studies
and office management or related field. - Three or more years working experience as a front desk
person in a busy and professional working environment. - Knowledge of principles of office administration and front
office management - Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of MS office computer packages
- Good time management principles and practices
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills
- Effective customer care skills
- Ability to undertake different tasks at the same time
- Typing speed of not less than 60 words per minute
