Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Control heat and steam levels in boilers;
- Operate controls and observe gauges to
regulate heat and steam levels, - Install burners and auxiliary equipment;
- Shovel coal / coke into the firebox using
hand tools.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should hold an Ordinary
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field; - Certificate in Boiler Operations will be
an added advantage; - Two or more years work experience in
maintenance and operation of steam boilers and chillers in a busy
manufacturing environment.
