Sebei Diocese Church of Uganda is one of the 34 Dioceses of the Church
of the Province of Uganda. Diocese is a Christ centred Church committed to

28:16 to 20. This is done in a holistic approach, which includes Child
Development Ministry. In this regard Sebei Diocese being a Christian

work to fill the positions above.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a Christian model for children and
their families - Play a key role in advocating for children
- Assist the children in corresponding to
their sponsors - Be creative and innovative in the whole
area of Child Development - Project activity planning and
implementation - Ensure working in a team and be a team
player - Ensure satisfactory learning processes,
whether formal or informal - Any other child related and Christian work
assigned by the Project Director
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The candidates should possess a Diploma in
Social Work and Social Administration, Social Sciences; Development
Studies, Education; Business Administration Accounting and from a
recognized Institution - Demonstrated integrity in personal and
public life in line with the Christian Values. - Teach and pass on knowledge on
entrepreneurship, Hygiene, Water and Sanitation - Good documentation and record keeping of
sponsor relation issues - Good knowledge and understanding of Child
Development Programming for the assigned age group - Good working knowledge of basic NGO
accounting practices.
Working ability to apply and adapt to the existing accounting procedures
to a variety of accounting transactions, problems and situations. - Effective communicator both oral and
writing. - H/she shall work at a local Church
- Prior knowledge of financial elements of
spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software - Computer literacy skills especially in
Microsoft Skills.
