be responsible for activities related to child sponsorship, Child Survival,
Leadership Development and other field program communication resources in an
accurate and timely manner.
- Under self supervision, the job holder
will be an advocate for children around the world who live in poverty and
are not able to speak out for themselves. This includes being informed
about the issues of children and influencing others to care about children
who are in need - Coordinates with Partnership Facilitators
and LDP Specialist in the gathering of communications resources from the
Church Partners. Provides production schedules with deadlines as well as
feedback on the quality of information received. - Collaborates with other Program
Communications team members, Program Specialists and LDP Specialists for
various communications information processing. - Generates, organizes, records, and tracks
child, mother-child unit (CSP) and student (LDP) information and
correspondence documents. Monitors quality of documents and prepares them
for entry into the database for dispatching. Also help with other clerical
tasks such as filing, copying, sorting and recording. - Produce electronic child information data
by entering child and sponsorship data into database. Produces database
reports and maintains computer files. - Performs other tasks as assigned by the
SDS Supervisor.
Experience:
- Mature Christian person, based on
evangelical Christian values; has a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ and is above reproach in integrity and honesty. - The applicant should possess a Bachelor of
Information Technology or equivalent related qualification - Excellent written and verbal communication
skills. - Achievement orientation to quality,
quantity and timeliness. - Self-motivated, Teamwork oriented, detail-oriented.
- Computer literacy particularly Microsoft
Office and ability to type well.
