Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist
the pharmacist to run the pharmacy prescriptions unit by receiving,
advising and costing prescriptions - Aid
the pharmacist to run the dispensing operations by packing, labeling and
providing proper drugs use information to patients - Implement
the pharmacy patient feedback mechanism - Maintain
clean conditions in the pharmacy by dusting and cleaning drugs and shelves - Keeping
pharmacy books of records particularly the prescriptions book - Assist
the pharmacy inventory manager to stock drugs by arranging drugs on
shelves and advising on stock levels.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should hold a Diploma in pharmacy or Registered Nurse/Midwife - At
least a year’s experience in a busy retail pharmacy - Experience
in computer packages like Microsoft excel, word and other office packages - Working
knowledge of retail point of sales programs like tally, retail man or
positive retail manager - Excellent
communication, leadership and inter personal skills - Proof
of registration with the appropriate professional council
