pharmaceutical entity whose main business is dispensing drugs Akugoba Pharmacy
is seeking for qualified persons to fill the above position on our team.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist
    the pharmacist to run the pharmacy prescriptions unit by receiving,
    advising and costing prescriptions
  • Aid
    the pharmacist to run the dispensing operations by packing, labeling and
    providing proper drugs use information to patients
  • Implement
    the pharmacy patient feedback mechanism
  • Maintain
    clean conditions in the pharmacy by dusting and cleaning drugs and shelves
  • Keeping
    pharmacy books of records particularly the prescriptions book
  • Assist
    the pharmacy inventory manager to stock drugs by arranging drugs on
    shelves and advising on stock levels.



Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • The
    applicant should hold a Diploma in pharmacy or Registered Nurse/Midwife
  • At
    least a year’s experience in a busy retail pharmacy
  • Experience
    in computer packages like Microsoft excel, word and other office packages
  • Working
    knowledge of retail point of sales programs like tally, retail man or
    positive retail manager
  • Excellent
    communication, leadership and inter personal skills
  • Proof
    of registration with the appropriate professional council
