hospital in Kampala that opened its doors to outpatient treatment in March 2009
and inpatient treatment, the same year. Our mission is to provide quality
medical care to patients, to fill the gap which is created by lack of adequate
medical facilities in the country.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Laboratory
Manager will be responsible for ordering lab supplies - He / She will manage
lab safety and compliance programs including mandatory training of all lab
members - The job holder
will supervise and manage the laboratory collections of protocols &
procedures, strains, plasmid and other reagents - Mentor the lab
assistants and technicians to maintain the organization and smooth running
of the lab - Assist lab members
with experiments.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- The applicant
should hold a Bachelors of Science in Biology or Medical Technology highly preferred. - Generalist
laboratory background with at least three to five years experience
preferred. - Excellent technical
knowledge in relevant laboratory areas including hematology, chemistry,
coagulation, and urinalysis. - The applicant must
be self-motivated, energetic, able to solve problems and work in a diverse
laboratory environment - Excellent
interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients. - Demonstrated
leadership and a history of excellent attendance with the ability to work
independently. - Excellent
organizational, computer and record-keeping skills - Experience in
Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Mouse Genetics - Address and
resolve lab client queries and concerns in a timely manner
