Summary: The Information
Technology Manager will be responsible for the installation, management and
maintenance of computer hardware, software and networks. Additionally, He / She
will conduct training, offer expert advice on al IT resources while ensuring
their optimal utilization to achieve organizational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
IT manager will develop IT policy and recommend for
approval.
The Manager shall advise on IT to management - Ensure
IT is lined up and sufficiently up to date
to support our organizational goals and objectives
. - He
/ She should evaluate proposals for management information regarding upgrade
suggestions - Oversee
internet utilization and usage for decision making. - Generate
IT reports to inform management and actions. - Evaluate
proposals for infrastructure and software upgrades. - Take
custody of the IT software and hardware infrastructure. - Align
IT to organizational goals - Offer
training and advice for all end users on the optimal utilization of IT
resources. - Responsible
for the systems in HR, Finance and Accounting and Patient Registration and
ensure that they run at all times and ensure availability, confidentiality
and access is ranted to those responsible.
Skills & Experience:
- The
IT manager should possess a Masters of IT degree - At
least two (2) years relevant experience in a senior position for
a medium sized organization. - Additional
Management Training will be an added
advantage - Age: 30-45 years
Competencies: Hardworking
and dedicated, Ability to meet deadlines and
prepared to do overtime as and when required
without over bearing, Accuracy with attention to
detail, Business Acumen and Ability to collaborate with
a multi-department team
