contextualize global physical development outcomes and indicators in the three
core ministries. He / She will also
support the implementation of health as a subject matter expert, collaborator
in curriculum development, and group-level trainer. Additionally, He / She will
also monitor and evaluate physical development outcomes, indicators and activities.
- Under self supervision, the job holder
will be an advocate for children around the world who live in poverty and
are not able to speak out for themselves. This includes being informed
about the issues of children and influencing others to care about children
who are in need - Interprets and contextualizes global
physical development and health parameters as captured in the PFM. - He / She will also deliver content to
PF’s, trainers, and other stakeholders and maintains expertise on physical
development and health theory and practices. - Coordinate with PF and industry resources
to identify needs, resources and trends. - Work with other stakeholders and professional
counterparts and identifies possible resources and alliances to benefit
three core ministries. - Offer technical support, as a part of the
Training and Support Department, the development and implementation of
physical development and health curriculum for the three core ministries
(where applicable). - Participates in the design and utilization
of the Monitoring and Evaluation Process for physical development
outcomes. - Collaborates with key stakeholders and
analyzes reports and epidemiological trends. - Delivers learning opportunities within the
health specialization. Delivers training on different platforms/ blended
learning to mid-to-large group events. - Any other duties as assigned by superiors
in management.
Experience:
- The job holder should possess a University master’s level degree, or
equivalent experience, in Public Health, human medicine or Nursing. - A minimum of three years’ experience in
primary and preventative health care field. - Ability to effectively train non-medical
personnel in basic health subjects and help lay leadership adapt best
practices to the local context. - Ability to integrate and analyze health
data and provide clear reporting, interpretation and recommendations on
health strategies. - Ability to network and build partnership
opportunities with other organizations. 7 - Excellent verbal communication and
interpersonal abilities to develop support with the staff and to interact
with churches and partner projects - Mature Christian, based on evangelical
Christian values; a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and above
reproach in integrity and honesty - Computer literacy with ability to use
internet, applications like Microsoft Office and presentation software. - Ability to speak, read and write English,
including the demonstrated ability to write professionally presented
proposals. - Maintains current/valid driver’s license.
