About Us:
Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. is seeking staff for its USAID-funded
USAID/Uganda Private Health Support Program (PHS) program which will contribute
to establishing a more viable and cost-effective private sector option for
health services in Uganda. PUS includes three components: 1) expanded
availability of health services by private service providers; 2) increased
affordability of private health services and products; and 3) improved quality
of private health sector facilities and services.

Job Summary: The Grants & Subcontracts Assistant
will support the Grants & Subcontracts Manager in administering a large performance
based grants program with a cost sharing component under the PHS Program.
Particularly, He / She will contribute to developing systems, tools and
processes and will conduct any other administrative functions related to grants
and subcontract management as directed by the Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should possess a Bachelors
Level degree or equivalent (Business, Finance, Accounting, or related
degree or certification) - Past or present experience of
international donor-funded grants programs, especially USAID-funded
projects - The applicant should possess three or more
years of experience in grants, contracts, or financial management - Experience with performance-based
financing mechanisms preferred - Excellent organizational and communication
skills
