working in the field of disability arid development CSU is a member of the
Leonard Cheshire Disability Global Alliance, a membership of over 55 countries.
CSU works with and for Persons with Disabilities through four thematic
programme areas of Livelihood, Inclusive Education, Advocacy and campaign and
Health and rehabilitation. CSU has been selected by the Girls Education
Challenge (GEC) to receive DFID funding to design a project to effect
long-lasting and transformative change for girls with disabilities in Kampala
district. The project will support girls with disabilities to enroll and
demonstrate learning and retention in mainstream primary schools. CSU will in
the next five months develop the project further basing on the baseline to be
conducted. CSU therefore wishes to recruit a highly qualified and sett
motivated team to deliver the project upon final approval for implementation.

- Ensures provision of reliable and secure
driving services to the project stall times. - Maintenance of daily vehicle
logs. - Ensures proper day-to-day maintenance of
the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major
repairs, timely changes of oil. check of tires, brakes, car washing, etc. - Ensures availability of all the required
documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office
directory, and map of the city/country, first aid kit, car Alarm and
necessary spare parts. - Ensures that all immediate actions
required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in
accidents. - Any other duties as assigned by superiors.
Experience:
- The applicant should possess a Uganda
Certificate of Education. - A Valid Ugandan driving license.
- Ability to work with children with
disabilities - A minimum of five years driving experience
and good knowledge of the regions and the country. - Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, a
great attitude and good work ethics.

and organizing, and customer care skills.
