About CAROIL:
Our client CAROIL Uganda, a part of CAROIL Tuscany International Drilling Group involved in drilling operations in Uganda is seeking experienced Ugandans in the oil field.
Job Summary: The Drill Supervisor/Superintendent will be accountable for the commercial operation of the unit and liaising with the Person In-Charge (PIC) and manage client relationship in the capacity of Keep the Operation Manager contractor’s representative.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The job holder will be informed of the state of the drill plant, the well, potential hazards,
- malfunction of equipment and actions taken and supervise drilling operations.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure that drilling equipment and facilities are maintained, drilling operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with the safety guidelines.
- Ensure that rig practices are followed and contractual requirements are met.
- Also ensure that supervisors are informed of any operational, maintenance, environmental, health, safety, training and quality issues and works with supervisors to develop
- Lead the drilling personnel, including implement effective solutions and that subcontractors, are trained and certified for their particular jobs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should possess at least three years of experience in a similar role
- The applicant should be Ugandan
- The applicant should have seven (7) of experience in oil rig as a Tool Pusher.
- The applicant should also possess the International Well Control Certification (IWCF) at office administration Supervisory Level. (The certification should not have expired more than 2 years ago.)
