Summary: The Cost
Management Accountant will give monthly management accounts, annual budgets and
forecasts to aid business planning. He / She will play a role in the
interpretation of financial information and hospital patient data to bring out
variances, trends for better decision making and effectiveness.

Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Do
quarterly costing calculations for laboratory, theatre and other hospital
procedures. - Do
budget and forecast procedures by availing updated cost information to the
chief accountant each quarter. - Prepare
monthly reports clearly clarifying variances, areas of concern from sales,
purchases, stocks, cost changes and recommendations. - Identify,
recommend and report on cost saving opportunities for the effectiveness of
business operations.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- The
Accountant should hold a Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration and/or
professional finance qualification i.e. ACCA/CPA - At
least three (3) years relevant experience in financial
accounting and reporting in a medium level
organization.
Personal

and dedicated, Ability to meet deadlines and
prepared to do overtime as and when required
without over bearing, Accuracy with attention to
detail, Business Acumen and Ability to collaborate with
a multi-department team
