university established by Statutory Instrument No. 22, 2007 enacted by
Parliament on 10th May 2007. The University holds a pivotal and
challenging responsibility as the only public University in the Eastern region
to play a major role in its development. Busitema University offers a variety
of unique choices to ensure that a student follows a rewarding academic path
according to their interests and capabilities.
In addition to academics, students have opportunities to develop new
relationships, many of which will last a lifetime. Leadership capacity building
is prioritized so as to prepare students to play leadership roles in society.
Recreational activities are also promoted.
Human Resource Officer will be responsible for assisting the Human Resource
Officer in providing professional and administrative support in the
recruitment, selection and deployment of staff and ensures that the University
has a reliable and robust Human Resource Information system
Experience:
- The Assistant Human Resource Officer
should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution and
Masters Degree in any of the following; Human Resources Management,
Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Management and Organizational
Development, Public Administration and Business Administration (Human
Resources Management option) from a recognized institution. - Working experience of at least two (2)
years in the relevant area in a large organization.
- Computer literacy i.e. knowledge of office
applications is a requirement.
