The Crane Survey is a
health survey project of Makerere University School of Public Health in
collaboration with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and
the Aids Control Program of Ministry of Health. The project plans to conduct a
national household-based survey to “Pilot the Size Estimation of Key
Populations at Higher Risk for HIV Infection in Uganda”.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate
and supervise daily activities of Field Interviewers - Ensure
Quality control: ensuring questionnaires are filled correctly, completely
and perform random spot checks. - Check/observe
data collection process - Coordinate
with data manager to ensure daily completed interviews are well backed up
Ensure that team members have all required materials - Assist
in management of field logistics (transport schedules, distribution of
interviewers) Report progress and any irregularities to supervisors and
study coordinators Any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:

- The
applicant should hold a Degree from recognised institution - Experience
with DHS and AIS preferred - Previous
experience in a similar role - Excellent
computer skills - Ability
to provide direction and leadership - Good
communication and interpersonal skills - Good
organisation and planning abilities Reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and
committed
