Job Title: Systems Administrator

The institution of higher learning strives to instill in its learners such knowledge, skills and attitudes which are prudent and crucial in holistic development as well as transformation of communities.
Job Summary: The Systems Administrator will be in charge of the planning, research and authoring of electronic content in an interesting and appealing manner for the online audience. The job holder will keep the website and database information up-to-date and very interactive with the audience. The administrator will perform regular maintenance of both the database and website and ensure that information is updated on time and correctly.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
- Two (2) years working experience.
- Knowledge of programming languages especially SQL, PHP and Oracle.
- Experience with HTML visual text editors, XHTML, CSS, Web Standards, FTP/SFTP, Content Management systems, database-driven sites.
- Computer literacy more so Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Knowledge of design software such as PhotoShop and CorelDraw.
- Knowledge of Publisher software including PhotoShop/Image Ready, Indesign and othe publishing programmes
- Good interpersonal skills, Communications skills, analytical skills, teamwork and ability to work independently and under little or no supervision.
