Job
Summary: The Senior Quality Assurance Officer will be
responsible for facilitating the development of standard operating procedures
and guidelines for research and administration in NARO.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop,
disseminate and update quality assurance standards and guidelines for the
management and delivery of research service - Design
and implement quality management training programs for scientists and
technicians. - Guide
the process of developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)and
guidelines for research and administration; - Develop
guidelines for SOP preparation, approval, tracking, review, and archival; - Develop
a system for monitoring compliance with agreed standards; - Register
and maintain a database of Agricultural Research Service Providers; - Develop
a document control systems for all agreed SOPs; - Vet
research projects for compliance with SOP requirements and checklists
prior to funding; - Performing
any other duties as shall be officially assigned.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- Possession
of a masters degree in biological sciences, agricultural economics,
agribusiness or Business Administration. - At
least five (5) years of relevant
quality planning and management experience in a busy organization - Experience
in training on and standards and quality compliance. - Proven
experience and ability to manage people, processes and technology.
