MBS:
(MBS) is Classified and registered by the National Council for Higher Education
(No. TI.C & R.0002) as a College of Business. MBS is a leading trainer of
applied skills in ICT, Finance, Management and Accountancy programmes and has a
wealth of experience. Multitech is also a key partner with the private sector
to help stakeholders build their capacity in Business and Financial Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide
professional leadership and guidance in the delivery of management, legal,
administrative support services in line with the school’s governance
framework. - Provide
professional advice on and interpretation of the implementation of
Governing Council policies and decisions. - Act
as the accounting officer responsible for all revenue and expenditure of
the school. - Monitor
the implementation of Governing Council decisions and policies. - Monitor
and track the utilization of capital and operational expenditure against
approved school’s plans and budget. - Coordinate
the procurement of goods and services ensuring that all contractual
obligations are fulfilled in accordance with Procurement Act. - Ensure
that secretarial services are provided to the Governing Council and its
committees.
Skills & Experience:
- At
least a Master’s degree in any business related field. - Administrative
officers’ law course. (Training in general management will be an
advantage). - At
least 5 years’ experience in administration of a reputable institution at
a senior level.
Competencies:
- Strong
leadership, effective interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. - Computer
literacy is essential. - Should
have unquestionable integrity. - Good
managerial skills.
