IDF:
Fund is a Ugandan non- political, non- governmental, not for profit grant
mechanism, providing support to civil society organizations to promote human rights,
access to justice and social accountability in Uganda.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The
Programme Support Manager provide leadership in grant management, in line
with the Fund’s policies, procedures and regulations. - Lead
the process of review, technical and financial assessment of the grant
applications - Make
recommendations on the eligibility of applications for grants as per the
IDF grant management policy and procedures and donor guidelines - Identify
organizational capacity gaps of the grantees and coordinate appropriate
capacity development interventions - Prepare
agreements and memorandum of understanding for grantees for final approval
and sign off. - Receive
grantee funds requests and authorize processing of grant transfers. - Develop
and implement appropriate training and capacity building initiatives for
the grantees - Ensure
that the funds /grants policies, procedures and regulations, are followed
and kept under review - Develop
good working relationships with the stakeholders. - Follow
up continuous improvement in grant administration and other programme
areas.
