Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
- Check and prepare specifications, terms of reference and statement of requirements in liaison with user departments.
- Draft reports to the contracts committee and PPDA.
- Assist in preparation of procurement plans in line with organization work plans and budget.
- Assist in preparation of contract documents for all procurements of the Authority and ensure good contract management.
- Prepare and review purchase orders and contracts.
- Offer technical support to the Contracts committee.
- Monitor implementation of Contracts
- Liaise with service providers on procurement matters.
- Provide regular feed- backs to user departments.
- The job holder should have a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics management/Procurement and supplies Chain management from a recognized University / institution.
- Up to one (1) year of relevant procurement experience in public organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of the public procurement laws of Uganda
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work with a multiplicity of stakeholders.
- Should be highly innovative and creative thinker.
- Must have excellent computer, writing, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision but achieve results.
